Poland’s most anticipated equestrian event returns. The fifth edition of Warsaw Jumping CSIO4* will take place on 5-8 September at the Służewiec Racecourse. The highlight of the event will be the final of the European Nations Cup in show jumping – the Longines EEF Series.

Warsaw Jumping CSIO4* is a unique equestrian spectacle and one of the most important sporting events in our country. Organised around the unique architecture of Warsaw’s Służewiec Racecourse, it attracts the attention of both the European equestrian community and the world of culture and business every year.

During this year’s edition of the event, which will run from Thursday to Sunday, 10 competitions will be held. The most important of these will be Sunday’s European Nations Cup final, but every day of Warsaw Jumping guarantees fans an incredible experience not to be missed. In addition to sporting rivalry at the highest level, a wide range of exhibitors, horse racing on the beautiful, green Służewiec Racecourse and Hobby Horse competitions will be waiting for visitors.

WHAT MAKES WARSAW JUMPING UNIQUE?

Hosting the finals of the Longines EEF Series is a huge honour granted to Poland by the European Equestrian Federation. The Nations Cup show jumping competition and other competitions included in the world ranking, with an attractive prize pool of nearly PLN 2,000,000, guarantee the presence of top European athletes every year.

The Warsaw arena featured, among others, Austria’s champion and world number three ranked player Max Kühner, Switzerland’s champion Dominik Fuhrer, world championships bronze medallist Dutchman Maikel van der Vleuten, his compatriot, London Olympic runner-up Marc Houtzager, highly world ranked Irishman Darragh Kennny, Poland’s champion Tomasz Miśkiewicz, as well as Poland’s representatives at the Olympic Games in Paris – Adam Grzegorzewski, Michał Tyszko, Maksymilian Wechta and Dawid Kubiak.

ONE PLACE – THREE WORLDS

Warsaw Jumping is not only sporting rivalry at the highest level, world-class competitors and magnificent horses. The four-day competition on the parcours is ideally complemented by horse races with which the Służewiec Racecourse is famous. On the green racecourse, from April to November, extremely fast and valiant race horses are presented. Fans of Warsaw Jumping on both Saturday and Sunday will be able to enter the venue for free and admire the struggles on the green track. Traditionally, a show race will be held this weekend, in which competitors who normally compete in show jumping will get on race horses and try their hand at the green track.

Służewiec Racecourse is the largest horse racing track in Poland, which impresses with its architecture and greenery. The 138-hectare racing complex, called the pearl of European and world hippic architecture, boasts a number of modern solutions. In addition to exciting races, it regularly hosts sporting and cultural events, concerts, galas, film sets and photo shoots. Varsovians eagerly visit the site to spend time in unusual circumstances surrounded by greenery. This year Służewiec Racecourse is celebrating its 85th anniversary and the ongoing racing season is the 80th in its rich history.

Parallel to show jumping and racing, the Hobby Horse competition will take place. The competition within the “Skok na Tor” league organised by Służewiec Racecourse has been going on since April. The league is of great interest to children and young people and promotes a healthy, sporty lifestyle among them. The best Hobby Horse riders will compete in the final on the beautiful Warsaw parcour during Warsaw Jumping.
