EEF Series

LONGINES EEF SERIES UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF THE EUROPEAN EQUESTRIAN FEDERATION (EEF)

The EEF Series is a series of show jumping competitions coordinated by the European Equestrian Federation, in a format based on the Nations Cup.

Riders from Europe compete to qualify for the Longines EEF Series Final first within their regions, then in the semi-finals of the series. In the end the top ten teams qualify for the final, which will be held in Warsaw for the next consecutive year.

In 2023, the following national teams earned the right to compete in Poland: Poland, Ukraine, France, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Slovakia.

Riders have been fighting for that since April through regional qualifying events – a total of seven were held. Next, the national teams, consisting of up to four riders, competed in the semifinals of the series, hosted at the French racecourse in Deauville, and a short while later in Ebreichsdorf, Austria.

The national federations have been divided into 4 groups for the EEF series:
Southern Region: San Marino, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Northern Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Malta, Ukraine
Central Region: Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Liechtenstein
Northern Region: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Poland, Israel, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Iceland
