Warsaw Jumping CSIO4* – Italy triumphant in the Longines EEF Series
The team of Italy took the top spot in the Warsaw Longines EEF Series Final, which was the European showjumping Nations Cup, ahead of Ireland and Austria.
All in all, in the course of the four-day event, the tribunes could watch the total of 13 international showjumping competitions, accompanied by the weekend races, various shows, hobby horse contest and equestrian fair.
The ultimate team competition concluded in the triumph of Italy, their line-up including: Riccardo Pisani with Charlemagne JT Z, Lorenzo de Luca with Scuderia 1918 Highlight W, Emanuele Camilli with Chadellano PS, Piergiorgio Bucci with Carpe Diem J&F Champblanc.
After two rounds, the winning team incurred four penalty points. Ireland team consisting of Thomas Ryan (Springfield 21), Kevin Gallagher (Ballypatrick Flamenco), Trevor Breen (Germaine W), Eoin McMahon (Chakra 9) made one more fail and concluded with eight penalty points. The last team on the podium – Austria: Christoph Obernauer with Kleons Renegade, Katharina Rhomberg with Cuma 5, Bianca Babanitz with Caipidor and Gerfried Puck with Equitron Naxcel V., collected twelve penalties in total.

The total of 11 teams took up the Nations Cup battle. Poland’s Jarosław Krzyczyński (Intruido), Przemysław Konopacki (Home-Run), Andrzej Opłatek (Diaroubet) and Marek Lewicki (La Pezi) placed sixth.
