Italian-Irish podium at TVP Sport CSIO4*

9 September 2022
Italy’s Guido Franchi, who finished second at the Thursday’s two-phase CSIO4*, came on top of today’s against-the-clock competion under the patronage of TVP Sport, one more time with the mare Falanita.

It has been a fantastic day. Yesterday was great, but it is today that makes me really happy. A very pleasant course, a bit more challenging than the one of yesterday. The Grand Prix this afternoon is of course what matters the most to me. And I am really hoping for a nice result. – he concluded.

Anthony Condon of Ireland with Merlins Victorie came to be second.

Yesterday, I was third. Today, I am second. Hopefully, tomorrow I am going to win. It is hard not to feel satisfied. I feel great here, and so do my horses. The parkour was a great reflection of the competition rank. And the weather is favourable, we do not really mind rainy days. – he told us with a smile.

The third place went to a petite Italian, Francesca Ciriesi, riding the mare Calotta 23.
