The Danish Zascha Nygaard Lill to top the first CSIO4* competition

5 September 2024

The 31-year-old Nygard Lill came on top of the first four-star competition at Warsaw Jumping 2024. The two-phase for the prize of Tor Służewiec under the patronage of Krajowy Ośrodek Wsparcia Rolnictwa saw her claim top spot on the Golossoka mare.

It is always nice to win and I am happy with my horse. She is really fast, really careful. She always gives her best in a course. She’s just fun to ride. – that is how Zascha complimented the 12-year-old chestnut. I enjoy the show a lot. I think you have done a lot since I was here four years ago for the last time. It has developed really, really well.

Silver was seized by Gábor Szabó Junior of Hungary on the 9-year-old H-Secret by Boris.

It is all very good, a nice place and a beautiful arena. Today is the first day, so I think it is not too hard, but tomorrow will be. – stated the runner-up.

The Italian duo clocked third – Albert Zorzi and the 12-year-old Stakalite. My mare jumped quite well and I am very happy about her. It’s been a good start for me. It was a very easy course, just right for the first four-star competition. – said the world-renowned Italian.
